Day 1 & 2: Boston
Dear Diary: We made it! As soon as we checked into our hotel, we headed out to take an Old Town Trolley tour to orient ourselves to the city.
2 nights Boston.
Standard: Hilton Woburn (Located 10 miles outside of Boston*) or Sheraton Colonial (12 Miles from Boston) 
Select: Boston Park Plaza downtown or the Hilton Financial District downtown Boston 
* The Hilton Woburn is located approx 10 miles from downtown Boston, The hotel offers complimentary car parking and complimentary transportation within a 5 mile radius from 7am-10pm daily which can be used to take you to nearby restaurants, shopping malls and to Anderson train station, from Anderson train station you can take the Logan express shuttle to Boston Logan Airport or the train which will take you into downtown Boston. 
 
Day 3 & 4: To White Mtns, NH (164 mi/262 km)
Dear Diary: En route, we visited Salem and later, shopped North Conway’s factory outlets. We rode the Conway Scenic Railroad for views of the Mount Washington Valley.
2 nights White Mountains.

Day 5: To Green Mountains (130 mi/208 km)
Dear Diary: We headed along the Kancamagus Highway to Lincoln, then traveled south for a glimpse of Lake Winnipesaukee. In Vermont, we stopped at Quechee Gorge, a mini Grand Canyon, for breathtaking vistas, and in the village of Woodstock with its covered bridge.
1 night Green Mountains.

Day 6: To Lake Placid, NY (135 mi/216 km)
Dear Diary: Today’s travel took us along the edge of the Green Mountains via the charming village of Middlebury into New York State and through the Adirondack Mountains to Lake Placid, site of the 1980 Winter Olympics.
1 night Lake Placid.

Day 7 & 8: To Niagara Falls, ON (375 mi/600 km)
Dear Diary: Niagara Falls was our destination today, and it is spectacular! We decided to splurge, and took a helicopter tour before a walk along the banks.

Day 9 & 10: To Central MA (413 mi/661 km)
Dear Diary: Our journey along the edge of the New York Finger Lakes region took us past the foothills of the Adirondacks, and over the Hudson River into MassachusettsBerkshire Hills. We spent most of a day exploring Old Sturbridge Village, a living museum of the 19th century.
2 nights Sturbridge or West Springfield

Day 11 & 12: To Newport, RI (127 mi/203 km)
Dear Diary: We decides to stop in Mystic, Connecticut, to see Mystic Seaport Museum, America’s largest maritime museum. In Newport, summer resort of America’s first millionaires, we toured the Cliff Walk and Ten Mile Drive with its extravagant summer mansions and the restored waterfront.
2 nights Newport.

Day 13 & 14: To Cape Cod (75 mi/120 km)
Dear Diary: Cape Cod was a fabulous summer resort with white sandy beaches, varied shopping, restaurants and abundance of attractions. We took a whale watch cruise, visited the historical village of Chatham and colorful, artistic Provincetown. We even took a day trip to Martha’s Vineyard.
2 nights Cape Cod.

Day 15: To Boston (75 mi/120 km)
Dear Diary: En route to Boston’s Logan Airport, we visited Sandwich, the Cape’s oldest town and home to the Sandwich Glass Museum. Then, we headed for Plymouth, where the Pilgrims landed, to explore Plimoth Plantation, a living museum depicting life in 1627. Later, it was on to Boston, to drop our car and catch our flight home.
